an update
I actually managed 2284 words tonight, before and after work! That means I'm almost 50% through the whole novel, and I'm feeling much more positive about it! Go me!

That's fantastic! I found I raced through the middle section of mine, now I'm stalling a bit before the final push. Apparently this is completely normal...hmm.
